For county booking and detention records, start with the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, which operates the Clinton County Detention Center roster: 207 N Main Street #6, Plattsburg, MO 64477, 816-539-2156. The published administrative office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Sheriff site does not list a separate records line, a booking-photo fee schedule, or a dedicated Sunshine form, so ask for the responsible records contact and specify the record sought.
Use the route that matches the event and the custodian. A current roster entry, a released entry, a court case, and a state-offender record are separate public systems.
- For a person now held in county custody, check the official current inmate roster. It shows current bookings, not a court finding.
- For a past booking that may have ended in release, use the official released roster. Its continued display is not guaranteed.
- For a booking sheet, arrest report, release information, or booking photograph, begin with the Sheriff's Office. Give the person's name, booking number if known, date range, and the exact record requested. The Sheriff forms page does not publish a dedicated booking-photo or Sunshine-request form.
